Core Responsibilities
They plan balanced menus compliant with dietary guidelines, forecast food needs for high-volume service, and order supplies to minimize waste in institutional environments. Daily operations involve coordinating meal prepare, monitoring service quality, and ensuring timely delivery during peak hours like lunch rushes.
Team and Compliance Management
Supervising student workers, cooks, and servers includes hiring, training on hygiene protocols, and scheduling shifts around academic calendars. They enforce health regulations, track inventory costs, and handle feedback to improve satisfaction in a non-profit educational context.
