Job Description

Role Overview:

The IT Executive will be responsible for managing, supporting, and maintaining the hotel’s IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations across departments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to address IT-related issues promptly in a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:1. Systems & Network Management

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot hotel IT systems, including servers, networks, firewalls, and Wi-Fi.
  • Ensure uptime and reliability of property management systems (PMS), POS systems, IPTV, telephone systems, and other hospitality-related applications.
  • Manage user accounts, access controls, and data security protocols.

2. Technical Support

  • Provide timely technical support to all hotel departments.
  • Resolve issues related to hardware, software, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
  • Maintain incident logs and ensure prompt issue resolution.

3. Software & Application Management

  • Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of hotel software systems (PMS, POS, CRM, accounting software, reservation systems).
  • Coordinate with external vendors for system updates, AMC, and troubleshooting.

4. Data Security & Backup

  • Implement data backup strategies and maintain data integrity.
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices, including antivirus updates, patch management, and network security monitoring.

5. Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain records of IT equipment, licenses, and warranties.
  • Coordinate procurement, repair, and replacement of IT assets.

6. Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure hotel IT operations adhere to brand/industry standards and IT policies.
  • Support audits and maintain documentation as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support (hospitality industry preferred).
  • Strong understanding of networking, Windows/Linux systems, and PMS/POS applications.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in shifts and respond to urgent issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,910.87 - ₹40,000.00 per month
