About the Role

Finance Manager


Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and review

    Profit & Loss (P&L) statements

    ,

    Balance Sheets

    , and key financial reports.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to derive meaningful business insights.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support management decisions and strategic planning.
  • Present monthly

    MIS

    and financial reports with actionable insights, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

  • Develop and manage

    annual and monthly budgets

    with accurate forecasting.
  • Perform variance analysis and drive accountability for budget adherence.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

  • Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and working capital optimization.
  • Prepare and monitor monthly

    working capital

    reports.
  • Manage banking relationships and funding requirements to support operational needs.

4. Compliance & Governance

  • Take full responsibility for

    all statutory compliances

    including taxation, audits, and regulatory filings.
  • Coordinate with

    external auditors

    to ensure timely completion of statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to governance and reporting standards.

5. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a

    high-performing finance team

  • Foster a culture of ownership, integrity, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with founders, department heads, and other teams to provide financial insights and drive business performance.
  • Build strong relationships across teams and act as a key business partner to support strategic decision-making.

6. Investor Relations & Strategic Finance

  • Liaise with investors and the

    Investor Relations team

    for data, reports, and disclosures.
  • Support fundraising activities, due diligence processes, and financial presentations.
  • Provide financial leadership in evaluating new investments, partnerships, and business models.

7. Process Improvement & Technology

  • Drive implementation of

    finance automation tools and ERP systems

  • Streamline financial processes for improved efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making across the organization.


Qualifications

  • CA with 2–3 years of experience, or MBA (Finance) with 3–4 years of experience
  • Strong background in financial planning, compliance, budgeting, forecasting and working capital management.
  • Exhibit strong ownership, accountability, and integrity in every decision
  • Possess exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional collaboration.
