Finance Manager

The Finance Manager at Hyve, a fast-growing sportswear brand, will be responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, planning, and operations. This role is critical in supporting growth through robust financial management, optimizing capital structure, and spearheading equity fund- raising initiatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in capital management, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder communication.

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial plans and budgets, forecasting trends, and performing variance analysis to support the company’s strategic objectives.

• Capital Allocation: Evaluate and approve investments in machinery, technology, and new production capabilities to drive efficiency and growth.

• End-to-End Finance Operations: Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Ensure accuracy in all financial transactions, integrating manufacturing cost data.

• Cost Management: Monitor and analyze the full scope of manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, production overheads, and logistics. Implement cost-saving initiatives and maintain optimal inventory levels.

• Audit and Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements pertinent to both fashion and manufacturing.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and statutory submissions.

• Budget Reviews: Regularly work with department heads to review budgets, identify variances, and suggest corrective actions to maintain financial discipline.

• Cash Flow Forecasting: Monitor cash positions to ensure liquidity for daily operations, supplier payments, and capital expenditures, considering the large working capital needs of manufacturing.

• Working Capital Optimization: Oversee inventory, receivables, and payables to strike the right balance between production efficiency and cash conservation.

• Finance Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team. Foster a high-performance environment, providing ongoing training and professional development.

• Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance financial systems, embracing new technologies to drive efficiencies and improve reporting accuracy.

• Valuation and Fund raising : Plan, structure, and execute equity fund raising (e.g., IPOs, private placements, rights issues) in collaboration with senior leadership and external advisors.

• Stakeholder and Investor Relations: Serve as a point of contact for existing and potential investors, maintaining transparency, providing timely updates, and building investor confidence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Commerce; CA / CMA preferred.
• 5–8 years of finance experience
• Proficiency in ERP/Accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
