Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1.      Sales Coordination: o  Process and manage export orders from receipt to delivery. o  Coordinate with sales teams and customers to confirm order details, including product specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules. o  Prepare and review export documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. 2.      Customer Service: o  Serve as the primary point of contact for international customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and any issues. o  Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. o  Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain strong customer relationships. 3.      Logistics and Shipping: o  Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping agents to arrange transportation and manage shipping schedules. o  Monitor shipments and track orders to ensure timely delivery and handle any delays or issues. o  Ensure compliance with all international shipping regulations, including customs requirements and documentation. 4.      Documentation and Compliance: o  Prepare and verify all export-related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations. o  Work with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance and resolve any issues that arise. o  Maintain records of all export transactions and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes. 5.      Sales Support: o  Assist in preparing sales reports and analysing export sales performance. o  Support the sales team in developing strategies for market expansion and customer acquisition. o  Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide insights for business development. 6.      Coordination with Internal Teams: o  Liaise with production, inventory, and finance teams to ensure alignment on order fulfilment and financial transactions. o  Assist in forecasting and planning for production and inventory requirements based on export demand. 7.      Process Improvement: o  Identify opportunities for improving export processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. o  Implement best practices and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of [2-4] years of experience in export sales coordination or a similar role. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and logistics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with export management software or ERP systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Work Environment: Office-based role with occasional travel required for customer visits or trade shows. May involve coordinating with international partners in different time zones.
