Event Manager — Remote (India) | B2B SaaS & Digital Events

- Own end-to-end event delivery for virtual, hybrid, and select in-person programs across India—conceptualise, plan, execute, and close with post-event analysis and recommendations.
- Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement—negotiate rates, track spend vs. plan, and ensure on-budget delivery with strong ROI focus.
- Select and operate virtual event platforms (Hopin/ON24/Zoom/Webex or equivalent), coordinate AV/production teams, and ensure seamless attendee experience and technical reliability.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align event goals to demand-generation, product launches, and customer engagement objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners—vendors, sponsors, venues, and agencies—driving quality outcomes and timely delivery against milestones.
- Define event KPIs, produce post-event reports (attendance, engagement, pipeline influenced), and implement continuous-improvement actions to increase impact.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years of hands-on event management experience with ownership of virtual or hybrid events, preferably for B2B SaaS, technology, or professional-services firms.
- Proven track record with virtual event platforms and live-production workflows; comfortable managing run-of-show, rehearsals, and troubleshooting live issues.
- Strong vendor negotiation and budget management skills; experience drafting SOWs and managing multiple vendors simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management—experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Data-driven mindset: ability to define KPIs, measure event ROI, and produce concise post-event insights influencing future strategy.
Preferred
- Experience integrating events with CRM/marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo) for lead capture and attribution.
- Familiarity with India market dynamics and time-zone coordination for APAC/EU/US audiences.
- Certification or formal training in event management, project management, or digital marketing is a plus.
