Role:
Events Manager (Remote)A technology services firm operating in the IT & digital events sector that designs and delivers digital, hybrid, and in-person experiences for B2B and B2C audiences across India. We create end-to-end event programs—virtual conferences, product launches, workshops, and community meetups—that combine event technology, marketing, and program management to drive measurable business outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver end-to-end events (virtual, hybrid, in-person) from concept and run-books through execution and post-event analysis.
- Coordinate logistics: manage timelines, vendor selection & contracts, AV/technical setups, rehearsals, and on-the-day operations for flawless delivery.
- Own event budgets and procurement—forecast costs, track spend, negotiate vendor rates, and ensure cost controls.
- Work with marketing and sales to drive attendee acquisition—create registration funnels, email campaigns, social promotions, and partner outreach to meet KPIs.
- Operate and troubleshoot event platforms and tools (Zoom, webinar platforms, Hopin/virtual stages, streaming services) and maintain run-time incident response during live events.
- Measure success and optimize: deliver post-event reports (attendance, engagement, NPS, ROI), capture learnings, and iterate on playbooks. Mentor interns and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to meet objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; open to early-career candidates—internship or 0–3 years of event experience welcomed.
- Hands-on experience planning or supporting virtual/hybrid events (projects, internships, or prior roles).
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder management and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with event platforms (Zoom, webinar tools, Hopin/MS Teams), basic AV concepts, and run-book execution.
- Basic budgeting and vendor coordination experience; comfortable negotiating and tracking expenses.
- Preferred
- Experience with marketing/CRM tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot), analytics (Google Analytics), or ticketing platforms.
- Prior exposure to tech/SaaS events, community programs, or B2B conference logistics; event-management certification is a plus.
