Primary Job Title:
Social Media Manager (Remote, India) — full-ownership role for social strategy, content, and community growth across organic and paid channels.Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute a performance-led social media strategy aligned to business goals—awareness, lead generation and retention—for India & global audiences.
- Plan and maintain an editorial calendar: develop weekly/monthly content themes, post cadence, and campaign timelines across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
- Create high-quality copy, visual briefs and short-form content (reels, stories, carousels) and coordinate design delivery using in-house or external resources.
- Manage community engagement and reputation: respond to comments, escalate issues, run social listening, and nurture brand advocates and influencer partnerships.
- Run and optimize paid social campaigns (Meta Ads Manager and platform-native tools) to meet CPA/ROAS and audience-growth KPIs.
- Track, analyze and report performance: translate metrics into actionable recommendations and iterate on content and targeting for continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years experience managing social channels for B2B or B2C tech brands, ideally in a remote setup servicing India.
- Proven track record with content planning, community management, and running paid social (Meta/Facebook & Instagram).
- Strong copywriting skills tailored for short-form social and storytelling; ability to create briefs for designers.
- Hands-on with analytics: dashboards, UTM tagging, Google Analytics, and platform insights to measure campaigns.
- Comfortable using collaboration and project tools (Slack, Notion/Asana, Google Workspace).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication and ability to operate independently in a remote environment.
Preferred
- Experience with influencer outreach, affiliate/social commerce, or creator partnerships.
- Familiarity with SEO-led content alignment and keyword-driven social strategies.
- Basic design skills (Canva, Figma) or experience briefing external creative agencies.
- Certifications in Meta Ads, Google Analytics, or similar marketing platforms.
