We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Applications and Delivery Leader to drive our enterprise application strategy and enhance our operational efficiency.


The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Applications and Delivery Leader with a deep understanding of the professional services environment. This role is critical to our continued growth and success, focusing on optimizing our enterprise application landscape, driving digital transformation, and significantly enhancing the employee experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical acumen, business process expertise, and leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects in a professional services context.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Roadmap:

  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and the unique demands of a professional services organization.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, client delivery, and employee satisfaction within the professional services domain.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new enterprise applications and technologies.

Enterprise Applications & Professional Services Domain Expertise:

  • Oversee the design, development, implementation, and ongoing management of core enterprise applications, with a strong emphasis on their application within professional services.
  • Possess a strong understanding of Services domain processes, including project management, resource management, time & expense tracking, billing, and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading ERP systems relevant to professional services, such as SAP (S/4HANA preferred for services) or Oracle Fusion (specifically Project Portfolio Management, Financials, HCM modules).

Business Acumen & Analytics:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders (HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations, Client Delivery) to understand their needs and translate them into effective application solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies for leveraging data analytics platforms to derive actionable insights from enterprise application data, focusing on key business KPIs relevant to professional services (e.g., utilization rates, project profitability, revenue per employee, client satisfaction metrics).
  • Champion data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Transformation & Employee Experience:

  • Drive significant digital transformation initiatives across various business functions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, and client-facing operations.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of HR platforms, with a focus on enhancing the entire employee lifecycle experience (onboarding, performance management, learning & development, offboarding).
  • Identify and implement solutions that improve employee productivity, engagement, and satisfaction.

Project & Program Management:

  • Provide strong leadership and oversight for all application-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and enforce robust project management methodologies.

Solution Architecture & Integration:

  • Possess a strong understanding of solution architecture principles and best practices for complex enterprise systems.
  • Oversee the integration strategy for various enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Evaluate and recommend integration technologies and approaches.
  • Emerging Technologies & Innovation:
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, including Enterprise AI, Machine Learning, Low-Code/No-Code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, OutSystems, Appian), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Identify opportunities to leverage these technologies to drive innovation, automate processes, and enhance user experience.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of application specialists, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a similar Applications and Delivery leadership position.
  • Mandatory: Very strong understanding and significant experience within a Professional Services environment.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise-level ERP implementations and optimizations (e.g., SAP, Oracle Fusion).
  • Proven track record of driving digital transformation initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of key business KPIs and experience implementing analytics platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with HR platform implementation and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
  • Proficiency in solution architecture principles and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise AI concepts and practical applications.
  • Experience with Low-Code/No-Code platforms (e.g., Power Apps, OutSystems) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
