Analyst /Senior Analyst Partner ledger Support, Engagement Financial Operations - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
The Analyst/Senior Analyst Partner Ledger Support offers advanced financial and administrative assistance to partners, with a primary focus on the financial management of client engagements. This position entails overseeing engagement budgets, monitoring financial performance, coordinating billing and invoicing processes, and ensuring the seamless financial operation of the partner's engagements. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously.Work you’ll do
As a part of this team, you will:Key Responsibilities:
Engagement Financial Management:
Monitor partner ledger hygiene, highlight Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) improvement opportunities, identify potential exposures, work with partners to address engagement financial queries, maintain visibility on high-risk engagements, escalate issues when necessary, provide strategic insights and implement best practices to help partners understand and navigate DSO challenges and impacts, and conduct 1:1 partner meetings for working capital management, partner ledger hygiene, and identifying opportunities for improvement.Risk Management:
Monitor lead indicators for predicting engagement distress, maintain a line of sight on high-risk engagements in the partner ledger, and facilitate financial accountability and operational efficiency across the firm by working closely with Business Finance, key Business Unit stakeholders, and other groups across the Enabling Areas.Engagement Support Services:Deliver firm-wide engagement support services to promote optimal engagement health, hygiene, and financial management across all engagements and client accounts. This includes handling requests received through ServiceNow for various tasks such as:Invoicing:
Coordinate the accurate preparation and issuance of client invoices in compliance with engagement terms.Client Creation:
Facilitate the creation of new client accounts in the system, ensuring all necessary information is accurately entered and verified.Engagement Creation:
Set up new engagements, ensuring all relevant details are captured and aligned with client requirements and firm policies.Engagement Closure:
Manage the closure of engagements, ensuring all financial and administrative tasks are completed, and final reports are generated.Modification of Engagement:
Handle modifications to existing engagements, including changes in scope, budget adjustments, and other necessary updates to maintain accurate records.Client Communication and Billing:
Coordinate the accurate preparation and issuance of client invoices in compliance with engagement terms. Manage accounts receivable by tracking outstanding invoices, resolving any billing issues, and monitoring key financial metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and margins.Financial Reporting and Analysis:Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses for engagements, covering profitability analysis, cost tracking, margins, billing, and days sales outstanding (DSO). Required
Postgraduate/Graduate (B. Com, BA, BBA) with Financial Background and strong analytical skills1-6 years of experience is in financial domain, especially in Accounts Receivables is preferred.
Preferred
Good Excel skills and strong computer skillsTeam player with a positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
