Job Description

Job Title - E-commerce Operations Executive


Role Summary

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive operations team member to manage

centralized e-commerce operations across multiple platforms. This person will

coordinate with the warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely

dispatches, inventory accuracy, and smooth order-to-cash cycles. The role requires

strong ownership mindset, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with

OMS/WMS (e.g. Unicommerce), Amazon Vendor Central, quick-commerce B2B

models (Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart), and returns/payment reconciliation.


Key Responsibilities:-


1. Warehouse Coordination & Dispatch Management

o Coordinate with warehouse teams for daily order picking, packing, and

dispatch planning.

o Ensure accurate gate pass/ sale order creation, inventory movement,

and checks using Unicommerce (or similar OMS/WMS).

o Track and monitor dispatch SLAs, and work with warehouse & logistics

teams to resolve delays.

o Conduct cycle counts, periodic inventory audits, and reconcile physical

stock with system inventory.


2. Logistics & Delivery Coordination

o Liaise with logistics providers / 3PLs to ensure on-time pickups and

deliveries.

o Track shipments, monitor PODs (proof of delivery), and actively

manage escalations.

o Analyze logistics performance (delivery times, cost, reliability) and

suggest process improvements.


3. Amazon Vendor Central Operations

o Manage Amazon Vendor Central operations: appointment booking,

ASN / PO fulfillment, and vendor shipments.

o Create and reconcile invoices on Vendor Central.

o Monitor Amazon KPIs (OTIF, chargebacks, defects) and coordinate

with relevant teams to resolve issues.


4. Quick Commerce (B2B) Operations

o Oversee operations for Q-commerce B2B partners (Blinkit, Swiggy

Instamart, etc.).

o Ensure real-time inventory updates, accurate listings, and order

acceptance.

o Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet partner SLAs and

maintain high service quality.


5. Returns & Payment Reconciliation

o Handle customer returns and RTO (return-to-origin) operations: track

inbound returns, reason codes, and stock disposition.

o Reconcile payments and refunds with finance teams and e-commerce

platforms.

o Generate reports on return rates, payment discrepancies, and financial

adjustments.


6. Inventory Management

o Maintain centralized inventory visibility across platforms and

warehouses.

o Perform stock reconciliation using OMS/WMS systems, identify

mismatches, and drive corrective actions.

o Forecast inventory needs in coordination with demand planning /

supply chain teams to avoid stock-outs or overstock.


7. Catalog & Listing Management (Preferred / Add-on)

o Assist in listing creation and catalogue maintenance across e-

commerce platforms.

o Coordinate with marketing/product teams to update product

information, images, and SKUs.

o Work with content or catalog teams to ensure correct categorization,

pricing, and promotions.


8. Process Improvement & Ownership

o Drive continuous improvement in operations through SOP creation,

process audits, and feedback loops.

o Establish key operational metrics (KPIs) — e.g., dispatch accuracy,

inventory variance, returns rate, invoice errors.

o Take ownership of end-to-end operations and be proactive in

identifying and solving bottlenecks.


9. Reporting & Analytics

o Build and maintain MIS / dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly

operations metrics.

o Use Excel to analyze performance trends, highlight risks, and propose

actionable improvements.


Qualifications / Skills:-

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or

related field (or equivalent experience).

 Experience: 1-years (or relevant level) in e-commerce operations, with

hands-on experience in OMS / WMS, especially Unicommerce or similar.

 Platform Knowledge: Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central

(appointment booking, invoices), quick-commerce B2B (Blinkit, Instamart),

and marketplace operations.

 Inventory Management: Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation,

stock audits, and forecasting.

 Returns & Payments: Experience handling returns, RTO, and payment

reconciliation.

 Technical Skills: Expert in Excel (pivot tables, lookups), good with

MIS/dashboarding. Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems.

 Soft Skills: Excellent coordination and communication skills; ownership

mindset; problem-solving ability; detail-oriented.

 Mindset: Agile, process-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced e-commerce

environment.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / Metrics:-

 On-time dispatch rate

 Gate pass / dispatch accuracy

 Inventory accuracy / variance

 On-time delivery / logistics SLAs

 Returns rate (RTO or customer returns)

 Payment reconciliation accuracy

 Invoice error rate (Vendor Central)

 Operational cost per order / per dispatch


Working Conditions:-

 Fast-paced, cross-functional role requiring frequent collaboration with

warehouse, finance, supply chain, and platform teams.

 May require periodic visits to warehouse(s) / logistics partner sites.

 High responsibility: expected to take full ownership of the end-to-end

operations processes.
