Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to lead all digital marketing initiatives and manage the day-to-day operations of our Sridhara Electricals and Fragrances Store. This is a unique opportunity to own both marketing strategy and store management for a growing e-commerce business. You will be the sole digital marketing professional responsible for driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales across multiple digital platforms while maintaining a high-quality online store experience.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, tech-savvy marketer with hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms, social media marketing, and local business optimization. You'll work independently with strong organizational and problem-solving skills while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across all online channels to increase brand visibility and drive traffic to the e-commerce store
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends in the electricals and fragrances industry
  • Create and manage integrated digital marketing campaigns that align with seasonal promotions, product launches, and business goals
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure ROI and optimize campaign effectiveness

Google My Business Management

  • Optimize and maintain the Google My Business/Google Business Profile with accurate, up-to-date information including business hours, address, contact details, and attributes
  • Create and publish regular business updates, promotions, and seasonal offers on Google My Business
  • Monitor and respond to customer reviews on Google with professional, timely replies
  • Analyze Google My Business insights to understand customer search behavior and optimize listings for local visibility
  • Implement local SEO best practices to improve ranking in local search results

Meta Marketing (Facebook & Instagram)

  • Develop and execute Facebook and Instagram marketing strategies, including organic content creation and paid advertising campaigns
  • Create engaging, brand-aligned content for Meta platforms including images, videos, carousels, and reels
  • Manage Meta ad campaigns with focus on audience targeting, budget optimization, and conversion tracking
  • Set up and monitor Facebook Pixel and conversion tracking to measure campaign performance
  • Build and nurture online communities through regular engagement, responding to comments, and fostering customer relationships
  • Analyze Meta platform analytics to identify top-performing content and refine social media strategy

Shopify Store Management

  • Manage all aspects of the Shopify store to ensure optimal performance, user experience, and security
  • Maintain accurate and appealing product listings with high-quality images, detailed descriptions, and correct pricing
  • Optimize product pages and collections for search engines and user navigation
  • Monitor and improve store conversion rates through A/B testing, checkout optimization, and user experience enhancements
  • Set up and manage store promotions, discounts, and seasonal campaigns within Shopify
  • Manage inventory updates, stock levels, and product availability
  • Handle order management, process tracking, and customer communication related to orders
  • Ensure Shopify integrations with payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools are functioning correctly
  • Regular website audits to identify and fix technical issues, broken links, and performance bottlenecks

Pinterest Marketing

  • Develop and execute Pinterest marketing strategy to drive traffic and sales, leveraging Pinterest's high purchase intent audience
  • Create visually compelling Product Pins with optimized descriptions, pricing information, and direct links to product pages
  • Build and organize Pinterest boards that align with product categories and customer interests
  • Implement Pinterest SEO best practices including keyword optimization in pin titles, descriptions, and board names
  • Manage Pinterest Ad campaigns to promote best-selling products and reach targeted audiences
  • Monitor Pinterest analytics to track referral traffic, clicks, and conversions
  • Utilize Pinterest Lens and visual search optimization to increase product discoverability
  • Create lifestyle and inspirational content pins that showcase products in real-world applications

Email Marketing & Customer Communication

  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to promote new products, sales, and special offers
  • Build and maintain email subscriber lists with focus on list growth and segmentation
  • Create compelling email content that encourages customer engagement and repeat purchases
  • Set up automated email sequences for welcome campaigns, abandoned cart recovery, and post-purchase follow-ups

Analytics, Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Set up and maintain Google Analytics to track website traffic, user behavior, and conversion patterns
  • Create monthly performance reports detailing marketing metrics, campaign results, and ROI across all digital channels
  • Monitor key metrics including click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, average order value (AOV), customer lifetime value (CLV), and return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Use data insights to make informed decisions and continuously optimize marketing strategies

Content Creation & Brand Management

  • Create original, high-quality visual content including product photography, graphics, and videos
  • Develop compelling product descriptions and marketing copy that highlight features, benefits, and unique selling propositions
  • Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels and touchpoints
  • Design promotional banners, graphics, and visual assets for social media and website

Customer Service & Engagement

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, email, Shopify)
  • Address customer concerns and complaints professionally while maintaining brand reputation
  • Build positive customer relationships and encourage repeat business through excellent service
  • Collect customer feedback and use insights to improve products and services

Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay updated with latest digital marketing trends, platform changes, and best practices
  • Manage digital marketing budget efficiently and report on spending and ROI
  • Coordinate with suppliers and product teams to ensure accurate product information and timely updates
  • Maintain organized records of marketing materials, performance data, and campaign archives
  • Assist with business photography and content creation for products
  • Handle routine store maintenance tasks including testing payment systems and monitoring site performance

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

  • Google My Business/Google Business Profile: Advanced proficiency in optimization, local SEO, and management
  • Meta Marketing Platforms: Expert knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram, business account management, pixel setup, and conversion tracking
  • Shopify: Hands-on experience managing e-commerce stores, product listings, inventory, promotions, and integrations
  • Pinterest: Proficiency in account setup, pin creation, board management, Pinterest Analytics, and ad campaigns
  • Google Analytics: Ability to track, analyze, and report on website traffic and user behavior
  • Content Creation Tools: Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing
  • Email Marketing Platforms: Experience with platforms like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or similar tools

E-Commerce & Marketing Knowledge

  • Proven experience managing e-commerce stores or running online businesses
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and customer journey mapping
  • Knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing
  • Understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Experience with product-based businesses, preferably in retail, home improvement, lifestyle, or consumer goods
