Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Linux DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, automate, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of our Linux-based infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and reliable operations of our Linux systems.

Responsibilities

Linux Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based systems, including servers, virtual machines, containers, and network components.
Configuration Management: Develop and manage automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to ensure consistent and reliable system configuration across different environments.
Continuous Integration and Deployment: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management.
Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and configure monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix to proactively monitor system health, performance, and security. Respond to alerts and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks, analyze system metrics, and implement optimizations to improve the overall performance and scalability of Linux systems.
Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, perform regular security audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
Sound knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Installation of mongodb, rabbitmq, redis and various open source tools/packages
