Job Description

1. Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager – Administration to lead and oversee critical administrative, financial, and legal functions within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial laws, finance, taxation, labour laws, and compliance, along with the ability to control investments portfolio effectively.2. Key Responsibilities:· Administrative Leadership:Ø Develop, implement, and streamline administrative processes to ensure efficient operations.Ø Coordinate with cross-functional departments to align administrative goals with business objectives. · Legal and Regulatory Compliance:Ø Ensure timely statutory compliance with all applicable laws, including Income Tax, GST, Customs, and Labour Laws.Ø Monitor legal developments and ensure timely adaptation to new regulations. · Financial Strategy and Management:Ø Lead financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in liaison with Accounts Department.Ø Plan cash flows, investments, and fund allocations in liaison with Accounts Department.Ø Provide insights into financial opportunities, market trends, and investment strategies. · Team Development and Leadership:Ø Lead, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary teams, including finance, legal, sales and administrative personnel.Ø Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Build employee capacity through training and knowledge-sharing programs.3. Qualifications and Skills:Ø Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferredor MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.Ø Professional Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, with at least 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing. Strong exposure to corporate finance, legal, compliance, and investment management. 4. Core Competencies:Ø Legal Expertise: In-depth knowledge of commercial laws, labour laws, Income Tax, GST, and Customs regulations.Ø Financial Acumen: Expertise in financial management, investment strategies, and compliance reporting.Ø Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial tools, and legal documentation.
