Qualification ,Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial preferred). Diploma in Fire & Safety (mandatory). Additional certifications in Safety, Operations, or Maintenance will be an advantage. Experience 10–15 years of proven experience in: Port operations Power plants Cement, Fertilizer, or other bulk/raw material handling industries Strong exposure to coal handling systems, conveyor operations, stacking/reclaiming, wagon loading/unloading, and equipment maintenance. Experience in leading teams of operators, technicians, and supervisors. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end operations of the Coal Handling Terminal. Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient unloading, stacking, reclaiming, and dispatch operations. Monitor and enhance the performance of conveyor systems, screw unloader stackers, reclaimers, dust suppression systems, and other bulk handling equipment. Implement preventive and predictive maintenance practices in coordination with the maintenance team. Ensure strict compliance with Fire & Safety standards, statutory requirements, and organizational SOPs. Coordinate with Port authorities, power plant/cement plant teams, logistics partners, and contractors for seamless operations. Develop and train the operations team, supervise daily activities, and ensure adherence to quality and safety norms. Optimize manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and operational costs. Prepare operational reports, MIS, downtime analysis, and improvement action plans. Lead emergency response and safety drills as per Fire & Safety protocols.
