Position Overview:

The Sr. Manager / DGM – Civil Projects will lead and manage large-scale civil, marine, and infrastructure development works for the Bulk Terminal. The role requires strong technical expertise, project execution capability, leadership skills, and experience in handling mega industrial and marine infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end execution of major civil and marine projects including

  jetty construction, marine terminals, roads, buildings, tanks, and pipeline laying

  .
• Prepare project schedules, resource planning, and timelines to ensure delivery within budget and approved timelines.
• Ensure strict adherence to engineering standards, drawings, and specifications.

2. Technical Expertise

• Review and validate engineering drawings, BOQs, tender documents, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with consultants, design teams, and statutory departments for seamless project approvals.
• Ensure quality control and site safety standards according to company and legal requirements.

3. Contract & Vendor Management

• Manage EPC contractors, vendors, consultants, and labour contractors.
• Oversee contract administration, variation management, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor contractor performance, work progress, and compliance with terms.

4. Billing & Documentation

• Oversee

  measurement sheets, work certification, RA bills, final bills

  , and reconciliation.
• Maintain project MIS, documentation, and statutory compliance records.

5. Leadership & People Management

• Lead project engineers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure efficient workforce deployment and motivate the team for high performance.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Marine, and HSEF teams.

6. Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge

• Strong understanding of

  marine construction guidelines, port regulations, environmental norms, and civil engineering codes

• Ensure compliance with all statutory laws and quality/safety standards.
• Liaise with government bodies, local authorities, and inspection agencies.

7. Software Skills

• Well-versed with relevant engineering and project management software such as:
• AutoCAD
• MS Project / Primavera
• STAAD / Civil 3D (desirable)
• MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
