Role Description Role: Data Delivery Manager Hiring Location: Kochi / Trivandrum Overview The Data Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of data solutions, from data architecture and ingestion to processing, analysis, and reporting. This role ensures that data projects are executed efficiently, aligning with business objectives while managing cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Project & Program Management Lead and manage the delivery of data-driven projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Ensure alignment between data initiatives and business goals, maintaining continuous communication with stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the data team, translating business requirements into technical specifications. Collaborate with business leaders to understand data needs and develop solutions accordingly. Provide regular project updates, including risks and key deliverables, to stakeholders and leadership teams. Facilitate meetings to gather requirements and communicate project milestones. Data Strategy & Architecture Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. Ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards throughout the data pipeline lifecycle. Collaborate with data architects to define optimal data architectures and integration strategies. Team Leadership & Development Manage cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and other professionals to deliver projects effectively. Provide leadership, mentoring, and career development opportunities to team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Address and resolve team challenges to maintain high levels of productivity and motivation. Quality Assurance Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and quality of data solutions by implementing robust validation and review processes. Develop and enforce data standards, best practices, and methodologies to maintain consistency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on past project insights. Risk Management & Troubleshooting Identify potential risks to project delivery, including data pipeline issues, resource shortages, or technical blockers, and implement mitigation strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related challenges during the project lifecycle. Reporting & Analytics Oversee the creation and maintenance of data dashboards, reports, and performance metrics. Ensure data solutions provide actionable insights to support business decision-making. Qualifications Experience 5+ years of experience in managing data-related programs, including data management, engineering, or analytics. Proven track record in delivering data solutions and managing complex data projects. Experience with data integration, warehousing, and modeling. Strong understanding of data pipeline management, ETL processes, and analytics. Skills Expertise in data management tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, ETL tools, cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration across functions. Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus. Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master certification (preferred). Data-related certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data, Google Professional Data Engineer) are a plus. Preferred Skills Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). Familiarity with machine learning or AI applications in data solutions. Experience with data governance and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
