Job Profile: Credit Control – Assistant Manager

Experience: Min 5 – 8 years

Experience Required: Freight Forwarding / Logistics Industry Mandatory

Qualification: Graduation (MBA in Finance is a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the credit control team – Supervise and guide executives on daily collection activities

• Monitor Receivables – Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers

• Credit Risk Assessment – Evaluate and approve customer credit limits in coordination with sales and finance

• Develop Credit Policies – Implement and enforce credit control procedures aligned with company policies

• Dispute Resolution – Address and resolve client disputes related to invoices, payments, or credit notes

• Reporting – Generate and present aging reports, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and collection forecasts to management

• Coordinate with Sales & Operations – Ensure smooth flow of information for accurate invoicing and timely payment follow-up

• Audit Compliance – Ensure all records are audit-ready and support internal/external audit requirements

• Process Improvements – Identify and implement improvements in credit control processes

• Legal Coordination – Liaise with legal teams on overdue accounts and recovery procedures when necessary

Experience:

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
