Role Description

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Credit Control team, providing support with complex cases and escalations. Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with Business Unit Heads to understand customers and manage sensitive accounts effectively. Being able to shape effective credit management strategies.
  • Taking ownership of complex and sensitive debt portfolios, ensuring timely collections and proactive engagement with customers and the operational teams.
  • Sending out monthly statements across the more complex and sensitive customer portfolios.
  • Oversee all escalations, reconciliations, and dispute resolutions along with partnering with the operational and billing teams to drive sustainable improvements in cash flow.
  • Setting up of new customers within Access Dimensions.
  • Maintaining accurate customer data within Access Dimensions and ensure all updates are reflected in reporting tools such as Power BI. Responsible for ensuring data integrity is maintained at all times.
  • Manage the Credit Control inbox and 3-step debt escalation process.
  • Ensuring prompt and professional handling of all internal and external queries.
  • Attend weekly debtors’ calls, providing regular updates to the Group Head of Finance Integrations & Processes.
  • Provide regular performance insights and risk updates to the Group Head of Finance Integrations & Processes, contributing to continuous process improvement and robust financial control.


Qualifications

  • Credit Control, Credit Management, and Debt Collection skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Finance knowledge and expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in similar roles is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
