Job Description: 1. Branch Operations Management Supervise day-to-day operations of the Branch including inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and last-mile deliveries. Ensure efficient routing and scheduling of transportation activities to meet service levels. Coordinate with internal departments (sales, finance, HR, fleet, etc.) for seamless branch functioning. 2. Transportation & Traffic Control Oversee dispatch planning, vehicle allocation, and route optimization. Monitor vehicle movement and ensure adherence to delivery schedules. Handle real-time traffic and transit issues affecting delivery timelines. 3. Fleet & Vendor Management Manage owned and third-party fleet operations including vehicle maintenance, driver management, and documentation. Liaise with transport vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure service-level compliance. Monitor fuel usage, tolls, permits, and overall fleet costs. 4. Cost & Efficiency Optimization Implement cost-control measures and reduce inefficiencies in logistics operations. Use KPIs to monitor performance (e.g., turnaround time, OTIF – On Time In Full deliveries, load factor, etc.). 5. Customer & Client Coordination Serve as the point of contact for key clients; handle service escalations and special requirements. Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and quality service. 6. Compliance & Documentation Ensure adherence to regulatory norms (RTO, road permits, E-way bills, GST, etc.). Maintain accurate and timely documentation of shipments, invoices, proof of delivery, etc. 7. Team Leadership & Development Manage and motivate the branch team including operations staff, drivers, and support staff. Provide training, performance feedback, and ensure adherence to SOPs. Requirements Qualifications: Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). Experience: 3–5 years of experience in logistics or transportation operations. At least 2–3 years in a branch or regional managerial role.
