Summary

The Country General Manager (GM) – India will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations in India, including business growth, P&L management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the Gen AI landscape, a proven track record in scaling businesses, and the ability to drive revenue while maintaining operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a passion for AI-driven innovation. They will serve as the face of the company in India, building relationships with clients, partners, government bodies, and investors to accelerate growth and market penetration. This individual will represent Centific in key forums, drive India’s expansion, and build a world-class organization aligned with our global vision.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Growth Strategy

• Lead Centific’s India business with full ownership of P&L, revenue growth, and margin performance.
• Develop and execute growth strategies across Gen AI, data services, localization, and platform solutions.
• Partner with global leadership on go-to-market strategy, client development, and market expansion.
• Serve as the executive sponsor for key client relationships and regional partnerships.

AI Business Growth, Hyperscaler Partnerships & Enterprise AI Deal Execution:

• Provide strategic direction to India’s AI and Platform teams in alignment with enterprise clients

and hyperscaler partnerships.

• Champion the industrialization of AI use cases and platform-enabled delivery without diving into day-to-day engineering.
• Oversee the development of Centers of Excellence in Gen AI, ensuring business relevance and readiness to scale.
• Drive joint GTM strategies with Microsoft (Azure OpenAI, Copilot Stack), NVIDIA (AI Enterprise, NIMs), AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker), and Lenovo (AI-optimized infrastructure).
• Lead co-selling initiatives with hyperscalers to land large-scale AI transformation deals.
• Negotiate master service agreements (MSAs) with global system integrators (GSIs) and hyperscalers.

P&L & Financial Management

• Own the P&L for the India region, ensuring sustainable growth, cost optimization, and profitability.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to drive business performance.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting standards.

Stakeholder& Client Management

• Drive commercial success through structured enterprise deals, outcome-based pricing models, and partnership ecosystems.
• Engage in strategic negotiations with global system integrators, technology partners, and large enterprise clients.
• Represent Indian client QBRs, global solutioning discussions, and joint go-to-market efforts with partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies, investors, and industry leaders.
• Represent the company in high-level meetings, conferences, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility.
• Collaborate with global leadership to align India operations with corporate objectives.

People & Culture Leadership:

• Build and scale a strong, diverse leadership team across operations, delivery, engineering, sales, and support.
• Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and innovative work culture aligned with Centific’s

values.

• Champion leadership development, succession planning, and retention strategies for top talent.
• Serve as a cultural ambassador for Centificin India and globally.

OperationalExcellence & Compliance

• Manage large-scale delivery/site operations across multiple locations and service lines.
• Implement robust delivery governance, SLA tracking, performance improvement, and productivity optimization.
• Lead organizational transformation initiatives that drive scalability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Strengthen offshore delivery capabilities, including global shared services and GCC operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory:

• 15–20+ years of progressive leadership in operations, delivery, or business unit management within the tech or digital services space.
• At least 5 years in a senior P&L role (GM/VP/Country Head) leading large-scale teams (2000+ FTEs) in India.
• Experience working with or alongside global technology firms (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, NVIDIA) in services, solutions, or transformation partnerships.
• Familiarity with Gen AI, enterprise platforms, and digital transformation concepts (not hands-on technical depth).

Preferred:

• Experience running Global Capability Centers(GCCs) or Shared Services for global enterprises.
• Exposure to localization, AI data services, or platform-led delivery models.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to structure and close complex client deals.
