Country Head

As a Country Head (Volunteer) for FounderHelpDesk in Austria, Germany, Spain, and other global regions, your role is crucial in connecting founders, universities, and innovation networks in your region to the global startup community. You will be responsible for leading and growing the FounderHelpDesk community in your country or region, identifying and connecting with local startup founders and ecosystem partners, organizing meetups and workshops, sharing local startup stories, supporting local founders, and bridging the gap between local innovation ecosystems and the global network of FounderHelpDesk. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and grow the FounderHelpDesk Community in your country or region. - Identify and connect with local startup founders, incubators, accelerators, and ecosystem partners. - Help organize virtual and on-ground meetups, learning sessions, and workshops. - Curate local startup stories and share insights with the global team. - Support local founders in accessing programs, resources, and mentorship. - Act as the bridge between local innovation ecosystems and the global FounderHelpDesk network. **Qualifications Required:** - Professional or founder with experience in startups, innovation, or community leadership. - Well-connected within your country's startup ecosystem or eager to explore it. - Comfortable representing an international platform and building relationships with diverse stakeholders. - Fluent in English; fluency in German or Spanish is a plus. - Motivated by learning, collaboration, and helping others build. FounderHelpDesk is a global venture support and innovation platform that works with early-stage founders, professionals, and innovators to help them go from idea validation to scale. They create spaces for ideas to become ventures and provide the necessary support for growth. As a Country Head (Volunteer) for FounderHelpDesk, you will gain recognition in your region, access to the global leadership network, exposure to international founders, mentors, and investors, experience in community building and venture development, as well as opportunities to co-lead various initiatives. The time commitment for this role is flexible, with an average of 4-6 hours per week, and the location is remote/local hybrid. The duration of the role is 36 months, extendable based on collaboration.
