Audit Associate Responsibilities: Eide Bailly is looking for an Audit Associate to join our growing India office. This role serves US-based clients (US GAAP) as an assurance and business advisory professional. The Audit Associate performs audit, review, or compilation procedures for clients. The ideal candidate will work with all phases of an engagement including workpaper preparation, financial statement preparation, and report preparation. What you ll be responsible for: Participating in client engagement meetings to determine timelines and objectives of an audit. Performing audit, review, and compilation procedures for clients. Analyzing and preparing trial balances, complex financial statements and audit reports using audit software programs, Word, and Excel. Performing schedule computations of accruals, property, and equipment, calculates depreciation expenses and long-term debt schedules for clients. Reconciling accounting information to control accounts. Assisting with financial analysis upon completion of fieldwork to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures. Assisting in proofing financial statements and other accounting documents. Maintaining awareness of general business trends and issues and apply that knowledge to client issues and solutions.
