Job Description

The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing the overall financial health of the company, including accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, internal controls, budgeting, and financial reporting. The CA will work closely with management for strategic financial planning and smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with Companies Act. Oversee daily accounting entries, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and MIS reporting. Ensure timely finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts. 2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, PT, and other statutory filings. Handle income tax assessments, notices, and audits. Ensure statutory compliance under ROC, MCA, labour laws, and other applicable regulations. 3. Financial Reporting Prepare balance sheet, P&L statement, cash-flow reports, and financial projections. Present monthly management reports to directors. Generate project-wise costing and profitability statements. 4. Budgeting & Financial Planning Develop annual budgets and monitor variances. Advise management on cost control, fund flow, and financial efficiency. Support in capital planning, investment decisions, and funding proposals. 5. Audit Management Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal auditors. Prepare audit schedules and ensure timely completion. Implement strong internal financial controls and risk mitigation practices. 6. Operational & Commercial Support Analyze vendor payments, purchase orders, and inventory valuation. Manage payroll structure, reimbursements, and employee financial compliance. Assist in drafting financial agreements, MOUs, and policy documents.
