Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with experience in the Infrastructure and Construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, project accounting, budgeting, audits, compliances, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to support the company’s growth and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS/GST/TDS).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and project-wise financial records.
  • Ensure timely closing of accounts and preparation of balance sheets and P&L.

2. Project Accounting & Cost Management

  • Monitor project-wise cost allocation, work orders, and billing.
  • Review contractor/ vendor invoices, RA bills, and ensure proper supporting documentation.
  • Conduct cost analysis, budget variance analysis, and project profitability review.
  • Track site expenditure, material reconciliation, and financial progress.

3. Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, returns, and statutory compliances.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF/ESI (if applicable) for site operations.
  • Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for timely audits.
  • Maintain compliance records for government projects, if applicable.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Support management in financial planning and cost control strategies.
  • Monitor financial KPIs for ongoing infrastructure projects.

5. Banking & Fund Management

  • Handle banking operations, fund flow statements, and cash flow management.
  • Coordinate for bank guarantees, LC, project loans, and financial documentation.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and collections from clients.

6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Develop and implement internal financial controls.
  • Streamline accounting processes to increase efficiency and reduce discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and financial discipline across project sites.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 2–7 years of experience in Infrastructure/Construction/Real Estate industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multi-site project data.

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience in working with government infrastructure projects (WRD, PWD, Road, Irrigation, Bridges, etc.).
  • Knowledge of contract management and billing cycles.
  • Understanding of costing for civil construction projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
