Job Description

Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving international growth and expanding the company’s footprint across UK and US markets. This role combines strategic marketing, B2B sales, and relationship management to develop and execute initiatives that generate leads, close deals, and strengthen the company’s global brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international marketing strategies, product sales, and B2B market dynamics.

Work Location: Next to Tidel park building, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Tharamani, Chennai

Shift: Night Shift

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in UK and US markets through strategic outreach and networking.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for B2B product sales across target industries.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Develop tailored proposals, quotations, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability targets.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle — from lead generation to deal closure and post-sale relationship management.

2. International Marketing & Market Expansion

  • Design and implement international marketing strategies to promote products and brand awareness in the UK and US.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create localized campaigns, content, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in international trade shows, exhibitions, and virtual networking events to generate leads.

3. Strategic Partnerships & Relationship Management

  • Establish long-term partnerships with distributors, resellers, and strategic business allies in target regions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

4. Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Track, analyze, and report sales performance against KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Provide insights and feedback on market conditions, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform business strategy.
  • Forecast sales trends and develop data-driven plans for continuous growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Business Development, International Marketing, or B2B Product Sales, ideally in the UK and/or US markets.
  • Proven success in developing and executing international go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
