Job Summary:The role of Business Development Manager (BDM) is a strategic level selling/market position supporting our growth and expansion of Actalent based on services needs in the India marketplace. The focus will be on selling Actalent capabilities in our Manufacturing, Mechanical & Electrical Practice and our Systems & Software Practice. The BDM will have specific target accounts to develop strategies and execute these strategies to drive Actalent services withing his/her portfolio. The BDM will work with a team within the Actalent Delivery Operations team and ensure a consistent approach within the sales cycle

- Be responsible for strategy, planning and execution of business development activities to expand Services opportunities in the India marketplace.
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets and gross profit targets
- Engage with Practice leaders and solution experts to deliver cutting edge solutions to clients
- Focus on expanding our capabilities within the assigned accounts.
- Responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships, and will have a combination of new business development and existing business expansion responsibilities
- Proactively introduce solutions / ideas to clients to help improve their business performance.
- Assist in the assessment, design, and development of technical requirements and solutions
- Support the development of project proposals, employ data gathering techniques and analysis to present proposed solutions to clients.
- Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process
- Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Interface with customers, building relationships with Executive Sponsors and key decision makers.
- Strong business acumen and skill level including sales (new and expansions), RFx’s, presentations, contracts, negotiations, internal and external QBRs, communications, technology, reporting, and leading by influence.
- Enlist Corporate functions (Legal, Marketing, Finance, Professional Development, Human Resources, etc.) to ensure appropriate functioning in large account set-up including contractual requirements, processes, systems, regulatory requirements, etc.
- Leadership skills including relationship building, organizational agility, command skills and institutional stretch assignments.
Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills
- Person will be a goal-oriented individual who can demonstrate proven results in business development for Engineering Services
- People will have successful experience exceeding 10+ years in initiating, cultivating and managing large customers that include Fortune 500 companies
and/or key target accounts
- Skilled in the large account sales process as well as a consultative approach to sales and relationship management with the ability to effectively
align customer goals with differentiated solutions
- He/she will be an excellent communicator who is able to present equally well to all levels of client organization
- Has demonstrated relationship building with Directors and VPs level
- Demonstrate competence with the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Strong ability to follow sales systems, documentation, and organization skills
- Demonstrate competence with Salesforce and/or another CRM tool
