Business Development Lead

to help take that mission forward.

Role Overview

You’ll own founder-style outreach, partnerships, and revenue pipeline — working directly with AI-native startups, SaaS founders, and ecosystem partners (accelerators, infra tools, VCs).This is an

on-site role in Bengaluru

, ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and driving growth from zero.You’ll report directly to the founder and collaborate with marketing, product, and compliance teams to convert leads into transacting merchants.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline & Sales Execution

  • Identify and qualify high-potential AI-native and SaaS startups across global markets.
  • Run outbound campaigns via LinkedIn, email, and warm intros to founders, CFOs, and GTM leads.
  • Own the sales funnel from outreach → discovery → demos → onboarding → close.
  • Collaborate with compliance and product teams for KYB, pricing, and integration handoff.
  • Track and report pipeline health, win rates, and deal velocity metrics.

Partnerships & Ecosystem

  • Build relationships with incubators, VCs, and ecosystem partners (e.g. a16z Speedrun, YC).
  • Develop co-marketing opportunities and bundle programs with dev tools and AI infra platforms.
  • Represent Dodo at startup events, demo days, and ecosystem panels.

Growth Enablement

  • Feed back market insights to product and marketing to refine ICP and messaging.
  • Create and maintain collateral: one-pagers, decks, and case studies for different verticals.
  • Set up CRM workflows and reporting dashboards for visibility and accountability.

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, BD, or partnerships in SaaS, fintech, or AI ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to prospect, pitch, and close early-stage startup accounts.
  • Exceptional communication and founder-level hustle.
  • Comfort with CRM tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, etc.) and outbound workflows.
  • Understanding of GTM metrics like pipeline coverage, ACV, and conversion rates.
  • Bonus: Network within AI / devtool / startup ecosystems globally.
