Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and growth-focused Business Development Lead with 3–4 years of experience to spearhead Wartens’s business expansion across our Training, Technology, and Digital Divisions.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic sales acumen, team leadership, and marketing insight, with a proven track record in client acquisition, partnership development, and revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify and engage with potential clients, partners, and institutions for training collaborations, industrial projects, and software solutions.
  • Design and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies to expand Wartens’s footprint in India and overseas markets.
  • Drive lead generation, sales conversion, and partnership pipelines to meet quarterly growth targets.
  • Manage proposal development, pricing models, RFPs, and client presentations with support from technical and creative teams.

🔹 Marketing & Lead Management

  • Oversee lead generation activities across LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads, and Email campaigns, ensuring quality and ROI.
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to develop case studies, campaigns, and promotional assets that reflect Wartens’s innovations.
  • Monitor CRM data, analyze funnel metrics, and implement strategies to improve conversion rates.

🔹 Team & Operations Leadership

  • Lead and coach the Marketing and Admissions teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives and smooth coordination across departments.
  • Drive accountability through weekly performance reviews, goal tracking, and structured reporting.
  • Collaborate directly with management to shape BD and marketing plans in line with Wartens’s growth strategy.

🔹 Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Translate client needs into actionable proposals and solution roadmaps in coordination with technical teams.
  • Represent Wartens in client meetings, industry events, and partnership discussions.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–4 years of experience in Business Development, Client Acquisition, or Partnership Management — preferably in education, training, or technology services sectors.
  • Proven success in sales growth, lead generation, and client retention.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels, B2B sales, and CRM tools (Zoho CRM, HubSpot, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
