Business Development Lead Automation Solutions

to accelerate growth across assigned territories. This role blends technical understanding with strategic sales execution, making it ideal for professionals who enjoy owning markets, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering high-impact automation solutions.You will act as the face of the business in your regiondriving revenue, expanding key accounts, supporting solution design, and collaborating closely with internal sales, engineering, and service teams.

What You'll Do

Market Ownership & Revenue Growth

Take full ownership of business growth, sales performance, and customer engagement across assigned regions.Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in industrial automation and related solutions.Strengthen relationships with key customers to expand wallet share and drive repeat business.

Customer Engagement & Solution Selling

Engage prospects through meetings, presentations, demos, and solution discussions.Understand customer requirements and translate them into viable technical and commercial proposals.Act as a trusted advisor, recommending the right automation solutions to meet customer needs.

Sales Strategy & Execution

Drive regional sales strategy aligned with overall business growth objectives.Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts in line with company policies.Own the end-to-end sales cyclefrom lead generation to order closure.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with application engineering teams by providing accurate technical inputs and customer data.Collaborate with Business Development Managers and internal stakeholders for market coverage and opportunity tracking.Coordinate with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building.

Sales Operations & Forecasting

Maintain accurate sales data and pipeline tracking using CRM tools.Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to support leadership decisions.Implement structured sales processes to drive consistent YoY growth.

Brand & Market Presence

Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and networking forums.Support branding and marketing initiatives to strengthen regional visibility.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth levers.

What We're Looking For

Experience in business development, sales, or techno-commercial roles within the automation or industrial solutions space.Strong understanding of regional markets and customer ecosystems.Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and project-based selling.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Comfort working with CRM tools and MS Office applications.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to forecast and interpret sales data.Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of working independently with full regional ownership.
