This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, people management, and business impact. You'll be responsible for creating an environment where engineering excellence thrives—ensuring delivery, mentoring talent, and collaborating across functions to bring ideas to life. You’ll be the engine behind team productivity, technical decision-making, and process maturity while scaling both people and products in a fast-moving, product-first organization. What You’ll Do Build & Lead Teams: Hire, coach, and grow a strong engineering team that thrives on collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning. Drive Technical Direction: Guide system architecture, drive design reviews, and ensure the team ships reliable, performant software. Deliver at Scale: Own end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, ensuring predictable timelines, quality outcomes, and cross-team alignment. Implement Engineering Best Practices: Define and champion agile processes, CI/CD practices, and engineering standards to optimize productivity and reduce tech debt. Foster Culture: Promote a culture of inclusion, ownership, innovation, and psychological safety within the team. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with product managers, designers, and company leadership to align technical execution with business strategy. Optimize Team Health: Manage performance, resolve conflicts, give timely feedback, and ensure engineers are progressing in their careers. Operational Excellence: Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, roadmap alignment, and engineering rituals that keep the team moving effectively. What We’re Looking For 3–6 years of hands-on leadership experience in managing and scaling engineering teams. Strong technical foundation in software development and scalable systems. Demonstrated experience delivering complex products in dynamic, agile environments. Track record of growing and mentoring engineering talent. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. High degree of ownership with a strong sense of urgency and accountability. Familiarity with agile methodologies and engineering operations. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. Bonus Points Experience working with modern web stacks, distributed systems, or cloud-native infrastructure. Background in early-stage startups or experience leading 0–1 product builds.
