Business Development Executive (AEC / BIM Industry)

This role requires a strategic thinker who understands BIM workflows, can communicate technical value propositions clearly, and has a strong grasp of CRM tools, proposal writing, and contract negotiation. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored BIM solutions and lead initiatives to expand our market presence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full sales process — from lead generation and prospecting to deal closure — for international clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets within the AEC and BIM sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, general contractors, and developers.
  • Manage and track the sales pipeline through CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) for accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and demos showcasing The BIM Builders’ capabilities and value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, technical, operations) to craft proposals and project solutions that align with client needs.
  • Negotiate project terms and agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term collaboration.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and client feedback to refine strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Mentor junior business development executives and support their performance growth.
  • Maintain post-sale relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Represent the BIM builders at AEC events, conferences, and digital networking forums to strengthen brand visibility.


Skills & Competencies

  • 3–5 years of business development or sales experience in the AEC/BIM outsourcing industry.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and digital lead management tools.
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows, software (Revit, Navisworks, etc.), and project lifecycles.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and building long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market signals to drive strategy.
  • Strategic and self-driven, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to support junior team members.
  • Client-focused mindset with an emphasis on delivering measurable value.
