About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a deep understanding of insurance operations and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technical execution, collaborating with product owners, architects, and delivery teams to build scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions for the insurance sector. --- Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements. Conduct deep dives into underwriting, claims, policy administration, billing, and reinsurance processes. Process Mapping & Documentation: Create and maintain process flows, use cases, and data mappings between legacy systems and new digital platforms. Document API interactions, data schemas, and integration points with third-party systems. Solution Design & Coordination: Collaborate with technical architects to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications. Participate in design reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance standards. Assist in backlog grooming and sprint planning in Agile environments. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the liaison between business users, developers, and QA teams. Facilitate workshops, demos, and UAT sessions to ensure clarity and traceability of requirements. Testing & Validation: Support QA teams by defining test cases and acceptance criteria. Validate that delivered functionality meets business needs and regulatory requirements. Data & Reporting: Work with data teams to define KPIs, dashboards, and analytics requirements for underwriting and claims insights. --- Required Skills & Experience 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical BA in the insurance sector (P&C, Life, Health, or Specialty lines). Strong understanding of insurance value chain: underwriting, policy issuance, claims, and renewals. Experience with insurance core systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or equivalent) is a plus. Strong technical acumen with knowledge of: REST APIs and integration concepts SQL and data modeling Workflow automation tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow) Proven experience working in Agile / Scrum environments. Excellent documentation skills using tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Lucidchart, or Visio. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. --- Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Insurance certifications (e.g., AINS, CPCU, or equivalent) a plus. Experience working with InsurTech solutions, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), or data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau). --- Key Attributes Detail-oriented and process-driven. Ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions. Proactive, with strong ownership and accountability mindset. Comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
