Job Summary

Aruva is seeking a dynamic and strategic Brand Development & Outreach Manager to elevate our brand presence and drive our narrative across various media channels. This role is pivotal in shaping Aruva's public image, building strong relationships with media, institutions and key influencers, and ensuring our innovative solutions resonate with target audiences. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with a proven track record in public relations, content creation, and strategic outreach.


Key Responsibilities
  • PR Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with Aruva's business objectives, product launches, and key announcements.
  • Media Relations:

    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers in the music, event technology, hospitality, and business sectors.
  • Content Crafting:

    Draft compelling press releases, media kits, pitches, articles, case studies, and other brand-related content that effectively communicates Aruva's value proposition and thought leadership.
  • Brand Messaging:

    Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all public-facing communications, reinforcing Aruva's unique position in the market.
  • Outreach Campaigns:

    Plan and execute targeted outreach campaigns to secure media coverage, interviews, speaking opportunities, and brand collaborations.
  • Crisis Communications:

    Develop and manage crisis communication plans, acting as a key point of contact for media inquiries during sensitive situations.
  • Event PR:

    Manage PR activities for Aruva's participation in industry events, trade shows and other opportunities of brand collaboration.
  • Thought Leadership:

    Identify opportunities for Aruva's leadership to contribute to industry discussions, articles, and panels.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:

    Monitor media coverage, analyze PR campaign effectiveness, and provide regular reports on key metrics and insights.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and leadership teams to ensure PR efforts support overall business goals.


Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    4-6 years of progressive experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Brand Management, with a strong portfolio of media placements and successful campaigns.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    Demonstrated understanding of the music, event technology, hospitality, or B2B SaaS industries is highly advantageous.
  • Communication Excellence:

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for crafting engaging narratives.
  • Media Savvy:

    Proven ability speak on camera and to build and maintain media relationships and secure impactful coverage.
  • Strategic Thinker:

    Ability to develop and execute PR strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Proactive & Organized:

    Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Tech Proficiency:

    Familiarity with PR tools, media monitoring platforms, and CRM systems.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with a service based startup or in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Existing network of media contacts in the Indian music, entertainment, or hospitality sectors.
  • Experience with digital PR, content marketing, and SEO best practices.
