Leads government sector sales across the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions for SwanSat Group. Owns the sales pipeline, revenue, and profitability from state and district government clients procuring solutions from KhetPe (AgTech), BhoomiSure (InsurTech), and SwanSat (Geospatial & Defense Intelligence).
Drives strategic engagement with key departments and agencies, managing the full sales lifecycle—from opportunity identification and tender participation to contracting and delivery governance. Ensures forecast accuracy, compliance, and strong institutional relationships, representing SwanSat Group in southern government and industry ecosystems.
➔ Own P&L, annual plans, and quarterly targets for B2G business in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; deliver revenue, margins, and cash collections.
➔ Develop and execute a government-sector GTM for both states: opportunity mapping, department engagement, bid calendar management, and account-based strategies.
➔ Engage with key state departments and missions—Agriculture, Revenue, Disaster Management, Water Resources, Energy, Urban Development, IT & Communications, and state innovation societies.
➔ Lead end-to-end tender lifecycle management: RFP/RFQ analysis, bid preparation, technical & financial proposal submission, bid defense, negotiation, and contracting.
➔ Collaborate with system integrators and consulting partners for joint pursuit of large government projects.
➔ Monitor state and central government schemes, digital initiatives, and mission-mode programs such as Digital India, Smart Cities, AgriStack, and Jal Jeevan Mission.
➔ Ensure compliance with government procurement systems such as GeM, eProcureAP, and Telangana eProcurement, along with SwanSat’s data security and licensing policies.
➔ Oversee delivery excellence: project governance, acceptance testing, SLA monitoring, and customer satisfaction tracking.
➔ Maintain disciplined CRM practices, ensuring accurate pipeline updates and forecast visibility.
➔ Represent SwanSat Group at state-level government meetings, policy forums, and technology conferences across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
● 10–15 years of experience in enterprise or government sales, with at least 5 years managing B2G accounts in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.
● Proven success winning and executing large-scale government programs involving technology, analytics, or geospatial intelligence.
● Established network within state government departments, administrative circles, and decision-making authorities.
● Hands-on experience managing tenders through GeM, eProcureAP, and Telangana eProcurement platforms.
● Preferred industry exposure: Geospatial, AgTech, InsurTech, ICT, or infrastructure analytics.
● Expertise in government procurement: RFP/RFQ management, bid compliance, and contract negotiation.
● Financial literacy: pricing models, cost structures, unit economics, and cash flow planning.
● Strong communication and stakeholder management with senior government officials.
● Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and government e-procurement tools.
● Collaborative operator, driving synergy across sales, product, delivery, and legal teams.
● Hands-on leadership with high ownership, problem-solving skills, and process discipline.
● Effective team mentor with ability to scale regional sales capability and governance rigor.
● Understanding of government procurement laws, data localization norms, and export-control frameworks.
● Exposure to defense, homeland security, agriculture, infrastructure, and environmental intelligence applications.
● Experience working with central–state collaboration models for technology-enabled governance.
