About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 12 The Team: Platforms include post-trade Custody, Corporate Actions processing and Proxy solutions providing single platform trade flow management and custody and investment accounting solution across business lines and geographies. Also, providing end-to-end automation of corporate actions and income processing, from announcement capture and validation, to complete downstream processing. Other supporting solutions include web-based self-service platform that enables front-office, middle-office and end-customer users to seamlessly interact with their post-trade environment. A self-service business analytics application sitting on top of these, that enables operations to seamlessly interact with data. From the reference data side, there is Managed Corporate Actions(MCA) service which is a best-in-class centralized source of validated corporate action announcements for nearly three million equities, fixed income, and structured finance securities across global markets. MCA services customers as a single source that streamlines operations for the collection, validation and dissemination of corporate actions. It also provides unlimited access to corporate action data and allows customers to view full details in real time, including event-level data, dates, options, terms and conditions and restrictions. As an international team of industry experts, we architect and deliver intelligent post-trade software applications to the capital markets globally. We have a proven history transforming business models for the world’s premier financial institutions, enabling them to enter new markets, reduce risk, increase efficiency, scalability and improve service standards. We do this by seamlessly managing the huge volume and complex processing of all core post-trade services. These include asset servicing, securities and cash processing, and post trade analytics. The Business Analyst role is one of the most important roles in any client implementation. S&P Global has a requirement for an experienced Business Analyst who can further enhance and evolve the post trade securities and corporate actions suite of products, consult and lead client onboarding to our platforms seamlessly. The Impact: Product Manager works with various stakeholders involved in the project, works closely with other Product Managers, commercial team, development and Quality teams to deliver product enhancements, drive product strategy. Additionally, the candidate should be able to understand the existing business process of a client and how to define target state operational process onto the platform, based on which they then design and implement the most optimal product configuration for the client as part of client onboarding. The role requires the candidate to have excellent management skills, written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational / coordination skills, and strong analysis skills. The successful candidate should be process oriented and have a good understanding of product development lifecycle. Responsibilities: Product Manager will be the core focus of the job with certain elements of business analysis. Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business goals. Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap based on market trends, client needs, and internal priorities Strategic Roadmap Planning : Translate business objectives into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across global teams and senior stakeholders Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and implementation teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Client & Stakeholder Management : Act as a key point of contact for client engagements, especially in pre-sales, onboarding, and solutioning discussions. Communicate product updates, roadmap changes, and delivery timelines to internal and external stakeholders. Market & Competitive Analysis : Conduct research to understand industry trends, competitor products, and client pain points to inform product decisions. Data-driven Decision Making : Use analytics, client feedback, and usage metrics to drive feature prioritization and product improvements Lifecycle Management: Own the full product lifecycle for high-impact features or product areas—from ideation through launch and post-release optimization. Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early and work with stakeholders to mitigate them effectively, ensuring delivery remains on track. Champion a product-led mindset across delivery and go-to-market functions. Keep up to date with new features and functionality enhancements in the applications being supported Partner with UI/UX designers to develop user experience artifacts such as wireframes, mock-ups, and site maps. Open to travel for work What We’re Looking For: Education and experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 12+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Capital Markets, Post-Trade Automation, Custody, or Corporate Actions domains. Proven track record in product management roles, with hands-on experience in delivering scalable enterprise software solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in SQL, and ability to translate business needs into UI wireframes or working prototypes. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across global, cross-functional teams In-depth understanding of Agile software development methodologies and full project lifecycle. Enthusiasm for Agile process and new technologies and their potential to make an impact Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and leveraging emerging technologies to solve business problems. Prior customer-facing experience is highly desirable, with the ability to translate client needs into product solutions.
