Area Business Manager

You will be responsible for managing and overseeing sales operations in a designated region as an Area Business Associate at Biocent Scientifics. Your primary goal will be to drive business performance, achieve sales targets, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure strategic growth of the product portfolio within your assigned area. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic plans to meet sales targets, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the customer base. You will also be responsible for promoting and detailing Biocent Scientifics products to healthcare professionals, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and providing timely reports on sales performance and market conditions to senior management. Furthermore, you will ensure the availability and timely distribution of products to meet customer needs, organize training sessions for the sales team and key stakeholders, visit healthcare professionals regularly to ensure customer satisfaction, and coordinate with other departments to support area operations. The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field, along with 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or business development. You should have a strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, product offerings, and market dynamics, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and effectively managing business operations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a sales team, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools, and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area. Native candidates located in Ernakulam are preferred, and you should be prepared to travel extensively as part of this full-time role.
