About Us:

Traya is a direct-to-consumer hair care brand platform provides a holistic treatment for consumers dealing with hairloss. The Company provides personalized consultations that help determine the root cause of hair fall among individuals, along with a range of hair care products that are curated from a combination of Ayurveda, Allopathy, and Nutrition. Traya's secret lies in the power of diagnosis. Our unique platform diagnoses the patient’s hair & health history, to identify the root cause behind hair fall and delivers customized hair kits to them right at their doorstep. We have a strong adherence system in place via medically-trained hair coaches and proprietary tech, where we guide the customer across their hair growth journey, and help them stay on track. Traya is founded by Saloni Anand, a techie-turned-marketeer and Altaf Saiyed, a Stanford Business School alumnus.


Our Vision:

Traya was created with a global vision to create awareness around hair loss, de-stigmatise it while empathizing with the customers that it has an emotional and psychological impact. Most importantly, to combine 3 different sciences (Ayurveda, Allopathy and Nutrition) to create the perfect holistic solution for hair loss patients.


Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • P&L Management:

    Maximize the profitability of the assigned stores. Achieve this by closely working with the business team to hit revenue and cost targets. Drive in-store sales through enhanced customer engagement, like completing hair tests and providing hair coach consultations, while also strategically managing operational costs.
  • Change Management Leadership:

    Spearheading and implementing corporate strategic initiatives and change programs within your area, ensuring smooth transitions and team adoption of new processes, technologies, and customer engagement strategies related to our holistic health approach.
  • Employee Retention & Development:

    Recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining high-performing store teams. Fostering a positive, collaborative, and engaging work environment that encourages growth and reduces attrition, with a focus on deep product and solution knowledge.
  • Customer Experience & Retention:

    Ensuring the delivery of an unparalleled customer experience across all stores, focusing on educating customers about our personalized plans, driving strong customer engagement and retention that translates into increased online sales and brand advocacy for Traya Health.
  • Performance Reporting & Insights:

    Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational data for your area, generating comprehensive reports, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to the corporate team, specifically relating to in-store customer journey, Hair Test conversions, and Hair Coach interactions.
  • SOP Adherence & Operational Excellence:

    Ensuring strict adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provided by the corporate team, maintaining consistent brand standards, visual merchandising guidelines, and operational efficiency that reflect Traya's scientific and holistic approach.
  • Strategic Collaboration:

    Working closely with the corporate team to implement strategies at a local level, providing valuable market feedback and contributing to the continuous evolution of our retail model for personalized health solutions.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Staying informed about local market trends in health, wellness, and hair care, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform regional strategies and contribute to broader business development for Traya.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). A background in wellness, healthcare, or integrated solutions are a plus.
  • 7-8 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years of experience with a Master's Degree from Tier 1/Tier 2 MBA college.
  • Proven track record in managing Store level P&L and driving financial results.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and successfully implementing change management initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, with an emphasis on customer education and personalized solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned area.
