Accounts Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, implement ERP systems for accounts and finance, ensure timely statutory compliance, and provide management with accurate and insightful MIS reports. The role also involves handling import/export documentation and working closely with the CA firm during audits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management and ERP Implementation:

• Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP software for accounting and finance functions.
• Ensure seamless integration of accounting processes into the ERP system for accurate and efficient reporting.
• Provide training to team members on ERP system functionalities.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including invoicing, payment processing, and ledger management.
• Follow up with clients for timely payments and maintain an updated accounts receivable ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts to ensure accuracy.

3. MIS Reporting:

• Prepare comprehensive and timely MIS reports (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual) to provide insights to management.
• Generate financial forecasts, cost variance analysis, and key financial performance reports.
• Support strategic decision-making by presenting financial trends and recommendations.

4. Statutory Compliance:

• Ensure accurate and timely payment and filing for ESIC, PF, GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory taxes.
• Handle statutory audits and liaise with regulatory authorities to resolve any discrepancies.
• Stay updated with the latest changes in tax laws and regulatory requirements.

5. Import and Export Documentation:

• Manage end-to-end documentation for import/export transactions, including Bills of Lading, invoices, and customs clearance papers.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and banks to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and maintain records for all transactions.

6. Financial Analysis and Cost Control:

• Conduct variance analysis for cost control, budget monitoring, and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitoring actual performance against the budget.

7. Audit and Coordination with CA Firm:

• Support the external CA firm during statutory and internal audits by providing accurate data and reports.
• Implement corrective actions based on audit findings and suggestions.

8. Inventory and Fixed Asset Management:

• Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.

9. Team Leadership and Process Improvement:

• Supervise and guide junior accountants, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and procedures.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (CA/ICWA preferred).
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or any other ERP softwares).
• Expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in handling import/export documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
