Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage cash flow planning, monitor fund utilization, and ensure adequate liquidity for ongoing projects.
  • Oversee project cost accounting, budget tracking, and expense control for construction and real estate developments.
  • Review and verify project cost sheets, vendor invoices, and contractor payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and present management reports such as P&L, balance sheets, project profitability, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, RERA, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of findings.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.
  • Implement and improve internal financial controls, systems, and processes for better reporting and transparency.
  • Liaise with banks, consultants, and government authorities for financial, tax, and compliance matters.
  • Support senior management in financial forecasting, strategic planning, and investment analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within accounting and finance workflows.


Role Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred.)
  • Experience: 6–10 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in construction or real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, project accounting, and real estate financial operations.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
  • Excellent command of MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Sound understanding of GST, TDS, RERA, and Companies Act compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail and integrity in financial practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
