Finance Manager - Ahmedabad Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on and analytical Finance Manager to lead and optimize our financial operations. You will be responsible for end-to-end finance management including budgeting, compliance, reporting, cash flow management, and providing strategic inputs to drive business growth. This role is ideal for someone with startup exposure and the ability to balance detail with speed. Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Optional: Hybrid flexibility – 2 days/week remote if required) Roles and Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day finance operations: accounting, reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, and compliance Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and track variances against targets Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, and external consultants Manage investor reporting, financial models, and board presentations Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations) to align on financial KPIs Recommend and implement process improvements, automation tools, and internal controls Support fundraising, due diligence, and financial planning initiatives Role Requirements: Finance, Accounting, Commerce (CA/MBA Finance preferred) 4–6 years of hands-on experience in finance/accounting roles, preferably in an e-commerce or startup environment Familiarity with marketplace and D2C financial structures (discounts, commissions, COD, returns) Strong understanding of Indian taxation (GST, TDS), ROC filings, and compliance requirements Solid knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting Excellent communication and team management skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (alternate Saturdays off / as per company policy) Salary: ₹10–14 LPA (depending on experience, with potential equity options for high-performing candidates) Contact Details: For more details on this vacancy, contact us at hire@hiregenie.in __________________________ HireGenie is a premier Finance Recruitment Consultancy, helping companies and startups find top-tier finance professionals.
