We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team and oversee our financial operations. Job Summary: As a Senior Accountant at Protomont Technologies LLP, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s financial transactions and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and ensuring the organization’s financial health. Key Responsibilities:  Financial Reporting & Management: o Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. o Oversee the general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. o Review and approve accounting entries and journal vouchers.  Budgeting & Forecasting: o Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. o Monitor and analyse budget performance, providing insights to management regarding financial variances and corrective actions.  Tax & Regulatory Compliance: o Ensure compliance with all tax laws, including the preparation and submission of tax returns (GST, TDS, etc.). o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.  Audit & Internal Controls: o Coordinate with auditors for the annual audit process and ensure the integrity of financial data. o Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.  Financial Strategy & Advisory: o Advise senior management on financial strategy, including investments, cost management, and growth initiatives. o Support decision-making with detailed financial analysis and projections.  Team Leadership & Collaboration: o Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. o Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure alignment and efficiency across departments. Qualifications:  Education: o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. o Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA) is a plus.  Experience: o Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance in a senior role, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment. o Proven experience in preparing financial statements, managing tax compliance, and handling audits.  Skills: o Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). o In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. o Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. o Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. o Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
