Summary EDDY is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced VP - Technology to join our leadership team. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing the product development of our cutting-edge software solutions and driving the technology architecture and innovation for our products. As a VP-Tech you will be responsible for the growth, development, and operational success of key product offerings. You will play a critical role in shaping our product roadmap, infrastructure scalability, and technology innovation to meet the evolving needs of learners and educators. Key Responsibilities: Technology Vision & Strategy Define and evolve the long-term technology vision aligned with business strategy and product innovation. Champion the use of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, adaptive learning, AR/VR) to differentiate and future-proof our platform. Drive architectural decisions and technical investments to support scale, security, and sustainability. Executive Leadership & Collaboration Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to overall company strategy and planning. Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams to align tech initiatives with customer needs and business priorities. Communicate technical strategy and progress to the Board, investors, and other stakeholders. Organizational Leadership Build and scale a high-performing engineering and technical organization. Foster a culture of innovation, inclusivity, continuous improvement, and accountability. Develop and mentor senior technology leaders (e.g., VPs, Directors, Architects). Technology Operations & Infrastructure Oversee the architecture and operation of all technology systems, including platform, data infrastructure, cloud services, and security. Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of our products and platforms. Implement best-in-class DevOps, QA, and release practices to support continuous delivery. Data, Security & Compliance Establish robust data architecture and analytics frameworks to power personalization and impact measurement. Ensure compliance with all data protection and educational standards. Lead risk management and cyber security strategy. Qualifications & Experience : 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive technology role. Experience working in or with the EdTech sector or mission-driven technology companies. Prior experience working in a PE backed company is preferred. Proven track record of building scalable, high-performance consumer or SaaS platforms. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure, or GCP), data architecture, and modern development practices. Deep understanding of user-centered product development and agile methodologies. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline. Show more Show less
