Vice President of Technology

As a highly experienced and strategic VP of Information Technology, you will lead our E Commerce Web Development Company with a proven track record of managing large-scale IT operations, developing technology strategies, and driving innovation. Your deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, excellent leadership skills, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential. You will oversee the IT infrastructure, ensure data security, manage budgets, and lead a team of IT professionals. Task Source is a rapidly growing Business Process Outsourcing company in Indore, delivering IT Support, Website Development, and Digital Marketing services to clients across diverse industries in the USA, UK & Australian Market, with headquarters in New York City and operations office in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Work with the Management team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and production, balancing long-term and immediate needs. - Handle the entire E-commerce project from scratch, including its full lifecycle, completion, and ongoing maintenance. - Oversee data security, management, and governance. - Manage strategic clients and technology partner relationships. - Manage IT resource allocation, Goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics. - Ensure tight collaboration across departments to drive strategic initiatives, aligning technology strategy with technology roadmaps. - Create strategic plans and timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of technical, web, and mobile services. - Identify new opportunities, drive clarity, create focus, and make tough decisions in complex and dynamic contexts. - Track and identify new technologies to solve complex business issues. **Requirements:** - Minimum 8 years of software engineering or IT experience, with at least 4 years of leadership and management experience leading a team of minimum 15 members. - Skilled in Agile/Scrum methodologies, managing iterative development cycles, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring timely project delivery. - Previous experience as a CTO, Vice President, or similar leadership role. - Strong communication skills to convey technical topics in easy-to-understand business terms, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and external partners. - Broad knowledge of software engineering languages (such as PHP, React, Node.js, Shopify, WordPress, etc.), frameworks, techniques, and industry trends. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Experience in handling international clients from the USA, UK, and Australia. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field (master's degree preferred).
