Koita Foundation

Koita Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2017 by Rizwan Koita and Rekha Koita with a focus on Digital Health and NGO Transformation. Digital Health: Koita Foundation partners with government and academic institutions to drive Digital Health adoption in India. In 2021, KF partnered with IIT Bombay, India’s #1 academic institution, and Ashoka University to establish Centres for Digital Health at both campuses. KF has partnered with the National Cancer Grid and Tata Memorial Hospital to set up the Koita Centre for Digital Oncology (www.kcdo.in). Similarly, we have partnered with RSSDI, India's largest Diabetes organisation, to establish the Koita Centre for Digital Diabetology (www.kcdd.in). We work on multiple Digital Health initiatives on a national scale, including supporting NABH's digital health initiatives, and the Government of India’s ABDM roll-out efforts. NGO Transformation: We work with NGOs with proven operating models to understand and address their scalability challenges. We help them simplify and enhance business processes and determine how technology can be effectively leveraged to drive performance and scale in an orderly manner. We have help close to 20 NGOs across healthcare, education and livelihood segments to significantly improve their performance and meaningfully achieve their objectives.

Rizwan (LinkedIn) is the current chairperson of NABH and the co-founder & ex-CEO of CitiusTech (www.citiustech.com), a global leader in healthcare technology and one of the Unicorns in India. Rizwan (an alumnus of IIT Bombay and MIT) is the recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2013) and the recipient of the 2002 Indo-American Society's ‘Young Achievers Award in Business’. Rekha (LinkedIn), a recipient of IIT Bombay’s Distinguished Services Award in 2019, is a corporate trainer and specializes in business process consulting. Koita Foundation focuses on two key areas - Digital Health and NGO Transformation. Digital Health: KF partners with leading academic institutions, hospitals, healthcare technology companies, and NGOs to drive Digital Health adoption in India. In 2021, KF partnered with IIT Bombay, India’s #1 academic institution, to establish the Koita Centre for Digital Health (www.kcdh.iitb.ac.in ). In 2022, KF partnered with Tata Memorial Centre and National Cancer Grid to establish the Koita Centre for Digital Oncology (www.kcdo.in). In 2024, KF partnered with the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) to establish the Koita Centre for Digital Diabetology ( KCDD). KF is working on multiple Digital Health initiatives on a national scale, e.g., working with the Government of India’s ABDM initiative (www.abdm.gov.in) on their national roll-out, supporting NABH (www.nabh.co), India’s large accreditation body for hospitals, with their Digital Health initiatives. NGO Transformation: Koita Foundation works with NGOs with proven operating models and collaborates with them to scale effectively. KF helps NGOs to digitally transform their operations and use advanced data and analytics to drive organizational performance and impact, which are key success factors for sustainable growth. KF today works with over a dozen NGOs across healthcare, education, and livelihood segments. JD for Sr Program Manager We are searching for a highly qualified Senior Program Manager to help us maintain our position as a leader in driving Digital Health adoption in India. The ideal candidate will be a passionate individual with Digital Health knowledge and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The Senior Program Manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of Digital Health adoption is being achieved. Key responsibilities include some of the following: Responsibilities Oversee and manage strategic Digital Health initiatives in collaboration with academic institutions, hospitals, and NGOs. Build and maintain relationships with partners such as IIT Bombay, Tata Memorial Centre, National Cancer Grid, RSSDI, and government agencies like the National Health Authorities. Plan, execute, and monitor multiple Digital Health projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Drive the development and implementation of long-term strategies for Digital Health adoption in India. Coordinate large-scale initiatives, such as supporting the national roll-out of ABDM and NABH’s Digital Health programs. Collaborate with academic and healthcare partners to develop the outline of cutting-edge Digital Health solutions, including oncology, diabetology, and other specialized areas. Establish metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of Digital Health programs. Prepare detailed progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Desired Profile A professional with a minimum of 8-10 years of overall experience, of which at least 4 years are preferably in a managerial role in healthcare/ digital health. Motivated to work in the development sector with a not-for-profit organization. Experience working on chronic disease management projects is preferred. Master's degree in public health, hospital administration, healthcare management, business administration, or a related field preferred. Skills and Attributes Demonstrated experience in project management or related roles, preferably in healthcare, Digital Health tools and technologies, or healthcare-focused nonprofit organizations. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience in crafting detailed reports, presentations, and stakeholder communication. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Preferred - Familiarity with technologies relevant to digital health, such as HIS/EMR solutions, telemedicine, etc.
