Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in industrial diagnostic tools. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in selling or servicing solutions related to thermal imaging, ultrasound, or partial discharge detection. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with the opportunity to grow into a leadership position as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth for Volterra’s product portfolio by engaging industrial clients across sectors such as power, manufacturing, data centers, energy auditors, building maintenance, electrical panel builders, and utilities.
• Educate clients on the value of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring tools.
• Conduct product demos and support technical discussions around installation, application, and ROI.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and service.
• Maintain a CRM and report regularly on sales pipeline and activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial sales or field service (electrical or maintenance departments).
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: infrared thermography, ultrasound inspection, or partial discharge detection tools.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with client-facing responsibilities.
• Willingness to commute to our office location and travel for client visits as needed.
• Engineering or technical diploma/degree preferred.
