Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader – Sales to spearhead our Business Development team. You will not only be responsible for achieving your own sales targets but also for leading, mentoring, and growing a team of Business Development Executives. Your focus will be on generating new business, managing key accounts, and aligning team performance with business objectives across our service verticals: PR, Digital Marketing, and Influencer Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities via cold calling, LinkedIn, emails, and networking.
  • Conduct sales pitches, discovery meetings, and needs assessments to propose relevant services.
  • Convert leads into long-term clients through consultative and value-driven selling.
  • Maintain a healthy personal sales pipeline and consistently meet/exceed targets.
  • Manage a team of BDEs, guiding them on prospecting, outreach, and conversion strategies.
  • Set clear KPIs, monitor team performance, and provide feedback, coaching, and support.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to upgrade the team’s selling and communication skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team culture.
  • Act as the key point of contact for high-value clients and ensure delivery alignment.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients through timely follow-ups and service excellence.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
  • Contribute to business growth planning through competitor analysis and industry insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing for campaign execution and lead generation support.
  • Use CRM tools (Zoho/HubSpot) for activity tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly team performance reports for management review.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with at least 1 year in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, PR, and influencer marketing services.
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets and developing client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, MS Office tools, and LinkedIn for outreach.
