Here's a comprehensive job description for a Talent Acquisition Specialist: Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist Department: Human Resources Reports To: HR Manager Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing to offer acceptance and supporting onboarding, to identify, attract, and hire top-quality candidates who align with the company's culture and long-term strategic goals. This role involves collaborating closely with hiring managers, developing effective recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs, job specifications, and critical requirements for each position. Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of top-quality candidates. Contribute to workforce planning and forecasting to anticipate future talent needs. Sourcing & Candidate Generation: Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), professional networks, employee referrals, and direct outreach, to identify and engage potential candidates. Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Candidate Management & Assessment: Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone/video screenings, and conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview panels. Conduct reference checks and background screenings on selected candidates. Facilitate the candidate selection process, providing expert input to ensure the best candidate is chosen. Process Management & Administration: Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data, track candidate progress, and generate reports. Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate terms and conditions of employment, and ensure a smooth offer acceptance process. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to facilitate a positive onboarding experience for new hires. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and company policies throughout the recruitment process. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience: Contribute to employer branding initiatives to showcase the company as an employer of choice. Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process. Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve recruitment practices and candidate satisfaction. Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rate) to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness, and make data-driven improvements to recruitment strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. [X] years of proven experience in talent acquisition or a similar full-cycle recruitment role. Strong understanding of recruitment processes, best practices, and hiring laws/regulations. Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR software. Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
