Job Description

We are seeking a specialized Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. This role will focus on sourcing and recruiting top-tier talent within the construction industry, with a particular emphasis on BIM Architects and Estimation Engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of these specialized roles, their technical requirements, and the industry landscape. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring we attract and retain highly skilled professionals to support our innovative projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment:

    Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for BIM Architects, Estimation Engineers, and related technical construction roles. And also, various construction-related roles, including but not limited to project managers, superintendents, estimators, engineers.
  • Strategic Sourcing:

    Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, professional networking, industry events, and direct sourcing.
  • Targeted Sourcing:

    Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and attract qualified candidates through industry-specific platforms, professional networks, BIM/Estimation communities, and direct sourcing.
  • Industry Expertise:

    Leverage deep understanding of the construction industry to effectively assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and industry professionals.
  • Hiring Manager Collaboration:

    Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and provide expert guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Candidate Screening & Evaluation:

    Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and suitability for open positions.
  • Offer Negotiation & Onboarding:

    Manage the offer process, including negotiating compensation packages and facilitating a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Talent Pipeline Development:

    Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Data Management & Reporting:

    Track and analyze recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction, to optimize recruitment processes



  • Market Research:

    Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability in the BIM and estimation fields.


Optional but Good to have Skills

  • Technical Expertise:

    Demonstrate a strong understanding of BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, etc.), estimation methodologies, and related construction technologies.
  • Candidate Evaluation:

    Conduct in-depth technical screenings and interviews to assess candidates' proficiency in BIM modelling, clash detection, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and related skills.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, with a strong emphasis on the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction roles, terminology, and industry standards.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established network of contacts within the construction industry.
  • Experience with specific construction-related software or platforms.
  • Professional HR certifications.
