Coordinate with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve workflow bottlenecks. Assist in the resolution of key supply and demand related issues. Notify Scheduling and Manufacturing teams of significant forecast or capacity changes on a timely basis. Assist with the coordination, facilitation, and documentation of regularly scheduled planning meetings. Utilize MRP systems to coordinate requirements to meet schedules while minimizing inventory. Tracking and monitoring Supply Chain performance, minimizing any variations to the planning cycle. Coordinate with other departments on production and supply chain objectives and schedules. The primary purpose of your role is to enhance the operational performances of applicable suppliers, ensuring supplier punctuality on deliveries and supplier quality aligning with John Crane specifications. You will manage the operational performances for selected suppliers in close collaboration with Category Management, Engineering, Services, and Quality teams. Your responsibilities will include initiating improvement plans for selected suppliers, managing, controlling, and reporting on suppliers" performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conducting change management at suppliers for long-term improvement, influencing suppliers on innovation & strategy orientations vis a vis John Crane, and coaching supplier organizations on the implementation of best-in-class supply chain & quality processes. You will be operationally driving action and improvement plan implementation at suppliers, creating conditions of success to enhance the operational development with selected suppliers, improving Supplier performance classification, and being accountable for a pool of suppliers for which John Crane requires an improvement in their performance. Your role will involve measuring, monitoring, and improving the performance of assigned suppliers to meet the needs of John Crane.
